Christ the Redeemer is in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is included in the Seven Wonders of the World. The statue has 102 ft tall and weights 635 tones, situated on the Corcovado Mountain. The statue was designed by Heito da Silva Costa and completed by the French sculptor Paul Landowski. Its construction took 5 years and was inaugurated in October 1931.
