Arc de Triomphe or the Aleksandrov gates are in the park Viesturs. This is the only triumphal arch in Latvia. The author is ID Gottfried. The arch is made after the example of the Roman triumphal arch. It was built in 1817 at the end of Alexander Street (today Brivibas Street) near the air-bridge.
