Pay a visit to National Memorial Mount Rushmore, one of the most famous monuments of America, located in South Dakota; the monument consists of carved figures, 18 m high, representing four American presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln, perched at a 152 m height. Explore the Yellowstone National Park, which was founded in 1872 and is the oldest national park in the world; renowned for geothermal phenomena, the park has more geysers and hot springs than the rest of the world; other attractions are the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River and Lake Yellowstone fossil forest; in the park you can see wild creatures such as bears, wolves, bison, elks and trouts.
Throughout your journey here, make sure to visit the Statue of Liberty, a gift from France to the U.S. in 1886 to celebrate 100 years of independence; the statue became a symbol of American freedom and democracy; the statue is 45 m high and only a limited number of daily visitors can enter the monument. The Central Park is a 341-hectare park located in downtown New York, between 59th and 110th streets; besides being a green area in the middle of a crowded city, Central Park is also a cultural center and has a small zoo, a dairy, fountains and an ice rink. Visit the Universal Studios Hollywood, the largest movie set and theme park in the world and one of the most popular attractions of Los Angeles. A must is the Las Vegas Strip, or Las Vegas Boulevard, a symbol of American excess; every year, millions of people come to this city just for gambling; Nevada is the only U.S. state where gambling is legal and the slots and roulette here are more than anywhere in the world; the entire town has turned into a non-stop cabaret, with bright lights and extravagant companies; the city is also a place famous for marriages - some 200,000 couples marry in Las Vegas every year.
Furthermore, you can admire the Death Valley National Park that covers 13,500 km2 and is a wilderness area famous for the beauty of nature. In New York, visit the Times Square, a location associated with theaters, nightlife and glamorous atmosphere of New York City; here there is the famous Broadway area with over 50 theaters, 30 hotels, cinemas, shops, restaurants and bars. Do not miss the White House, the residence of the President of the United States and the most famous building in Washington, DC, built between 1792 and 1800 by Irish architect James Hoban. Admire the Yosemite National Park on the east side of California, which covers 3108 km2 of alpine meadows, rivers, lakes, rocks and waterfalls in the heart of Sierra Nevada mountain chain; the park is famous for its giant trees that are up to 3,000 years old and up to 80 m high; the park is the natural habitat for about 250 species of birds, 80 species of mammals and 24 species of amphibians and reptiles. Have a great time at SeaWorld Orlando, the most popular theme park in the world that attracts over 80 million visitors every year since it opened in 1978; the park offers marine-themed shows and attractions; also, do not miss Disneyland, that opened in 1955 and it is one of America's most famous attractions, located in California; Walt Disney World theme park is the largest in the world, containing four theme parks, water parks, restaurants, theaters and hotels.
