The Golden Gate
Zolota Vorota or the Golden Gate, one of the most unique architectural sites in Kiev, was reopened in 2007 after a long reconstruction. Ruins of ancient Kiev main gates were originally built during the rise of Kiev, and are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Designed meticulously by historians and architects, the new building that buried ancient walls is considered to be an exact copy of the original gate. From the platform, the view of Kiev and the surrounding area are stunning enough to justify the entry fee.
