Odeon Theatre, one of the most representative theaters in Bucharest, was founded in 1946 as the Theatre for Workers CFR Giulesti. The Majestic Hall was inaugurated in 1974. This is one of the finest theaters in Bucharest and one of Europe with a sliding ceiling.
In 1990 the Giulesti Theatre changed its name into Odeon Theatre. It is a repertory theater, with a stable team of 42 actors, two directors and two designers.
