  St Moritz is a great destination for a summer vacation, which is often called an Alpine metropolis. The city is well known for its gorgeous and luxury hotels, comfortable spas and trendy shops for an Alpine background spreaded with lakes an mountains. St Moritz is one of the world’s most famous landscapes of the wealthy, activating as an impressive ski resort for more than a century. This city is trendy and glamorous, opening to tourists the best cross-country skiing in the Alps Mountains, including also a large variety of summer and winter sports, which gracefully enchant the guests. St Moritz is a brassy kind of region that gives spectacular moments. For a long period it was the prime winter retreat for the international tourists as well, who over the time  created a small Manhattan of Vuitton and Armani in this romantic and elegant site surrounded by forests, lakes and mountains. Thanks to its fantastic location,  it is a pot of majestic attractions for the entire world. It is located in the Engadine Valley, in the South part of the Switzerland, very close to the borders of Italy and Austria. St Moritz played a significant role back in time, serving as housing for famous kings, for the Olympic Games, presidents, World Championships, movie stars.   It is no doubt that St Moritz is a spectacular, famous and glamour ski resort, with impeccable posh credentials. No wonder that St Moritz is so famous: remarkable experiences such as the Cresta Run, the Engandin cross country ski marathon, made the city more spectacular  and regarded with magnificent memories, that bring this region on the top of the most preferable ski resorts of Europe or abroad. The resort seems to be born in 1864 in the white winter holiday, being the only place in Switzerland who  hosted the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 and 1948. The Alpine Ski World Championship took place in St Moritz in 2003, like they did in 1934, 1948 and 1974 of course. St Moritz has three main ski areas, which are separated and stand beautifully alone. If you like to walk or drive between these wonderful areas you will get to admire different slopes of each area; the exceptional, extensive and rolling pistes of Corviglia, the dramatic sights offered by the Corvatsch peaks, and the immense descent across the glacier and the steepes slopes of the Diavolleza area.

 

 

  St Moritz has no distinctive qualities that will make it more obvious. But its beauty is highlighted by picturesque landscapes offered through the amazing lakes and treasured mountains.
