Centennial Olympic Park is located in Atlanta, Georgia and appeared as a gorgeous place dedicated to the Summer Olympic Games that were organized there in 1996. It was built just for the games, covering a 20 acres area, decorated with memorials and monuments to the games. After the games , in 1996 the park was closed to be reopened in 1998 with more improvements that made it ideal for multiple uses. There were founded stages for the concerts, a center for visitors that is located on the Southwestern corner of the park. Today the park seems to be the most attractive and splendid urban park in the Downtown of Atlanta. Centennial Park is a valuable legacy for Georgia from the Centennial Olympic Games and is making a lot of efforts to change the commercial development and to revitalize the recreational areas of Atlanta. The park is the ideal sponsor for important free events, for example the Fourth of July Celebration, also the festivals, or even the private events that fiind this place perfect for ceremonies.

Each of them offers distinctive attractions making the tourists to come back, to have a real unforgettable day.
The most popular attraction in the park seems to be the Fountain of Rings that is displayed in the center of the park. The water displayes are playing on the music and light making the view dramatic and people watch with enthusiasm this spectacle of the lightened water. During the winter one famous point in the park is the Holiday in Lights display, or take a walk to the ice skating rink. There are scheduled many events starting with April till September, are organized free concerts every Wednesday night, delighting the visitor’s eyes and ears with good music and interesting activities. This park is like a pot of honey surrounded by amazing destinations and splendid places. It will leave an unforgettable impression in everybody’s mind, and will increase the desire of coming back again.
