Harbour Centre in Vancouver is a wonderful skyscraper in the city with 28 stories of about 146 meters height. The construction of the building was completed in 1977 by WZMH who had founded many other spectacular buildings. The Harbour Centre can be easily seen from a long distance, being the highest building in Vancouver, due to its ornamental pylon, that represents the Seattle Space Needle, measuring 100 foot.
The most visited attraction for visitors is the top of the Harbour Centre that offers a dramatic view over the city, where can admire the nearby coast and the mountains. it will take 50 seconds to get to the observation deck that stays on the top of the building. There also is a restaurants that makes delicious food specialities, added to the spectacular view that offers the top. The observation deck was officialy opened to the public in 1977, with a ceremony having as first guest the astronaut Neil Armstrong, which has even his footprint graved in cement. The Harbour Centre is the perfect place where business and technology are meeting each other. The restaurant from the top of the centre is one of the three revolving restaurants that remained in the city of Vancouver.
