  Burkina Faso is a country situated in West Africa and it is bordered by Mali to the north,  Togo and Ghana to the south, Benin to the southeast, Côte d'Ivoire to the southwest and Niger to the east.

  Being a small and mostly poor country, Burkina Faso has developed through organizing various events that offered it a great importance with time. The government has acknowledged the development of tourism as one of its objectives, investing in tourism as a result; also, there have been taken measures to promote the country in order to become an attractive tourist destination, as well as measures to increase the accommodation capacity of the country. 

  Tourists willing to watch wildlife will have plenty opportunities to do so in the eastern part of the country; those interested in discovering the culture and traditions of the country are directed to the western and northern part of Burkina Faso. Make sure not to miss the capital city Ouagadougou; the cities of Kaya, Bobo Dioulasso; historical monuments; film and television festivals. November and February are the coolest months of the year. In April the weather is very pleasant to attend various festivals.
