Poltava region was immortalized in a poem by Pushkin Count, with much of history about the war between Sweden, Russia and Ukraine. Most tour operators offer transportation between cities and attractions, but if you have a little courage, you can arrange tours on their own, making the maximum vacation in Ukraine.
