The National Park and Preserve Denali is a natural park located in the center of American and Alaska, which includes Mount McKinley, the highest peak in North America (6194 meters). The park covers 24 585 km ², the size of four French departments. The word "Denali" means "up" in Athapaskan.
The mountain was renamed after the American presidential candidate, William McKinley, but the native name of this mountain is Mount Denali.
