An enchanting collection witch is exhibited in the Museum is composed by thousands of rare sea elements and animals or plants species. Some of them were ensembled by the Prince Albert I personally, during his expeditions. In the Museum’s halls, can also be explored a variety of paintings, photograps, sculptures based on the sea, ocean life. The Sailor’s Carreer represents one of the most appreciated collections provided by The Oceanography Museum. It offers a wide range of sea models and species, which were explored and discovered in sea expeditions. „The Polar Ice, for future generations” represents a temporary exhition recently presented at the Museum. It is presenting the polar world and its following stare for the next generations. There can be explored the model of the „Wu Zei” huge animal, which is supposed to live in the Mediteranean sea. This is a model with explains the negative poluation’s influence on the developent of the biodiversity in the water life.

The Aquarium is placed at the down floor of the Museum’s building and is considered one of the most modernized in Europe.
