Located in the cultural center of Barcelona, Museu d'Art Contemporary de Barcelona (MACBA) is a huge white building, with apparent emphasis of modernism. Inaugurated in 1955, after a project of famous architect Richard Meier, the museum houses a huge amount of artistic works of the past half century. Many reflectors and windows opening toward a full white interior, could be dedicated MACBA than modernity.

Permanent collections: In the permanent collection with the topic of Catalan and Spanish art after 1945, MACBA promote national talents such as Paul Klee and Miguel Barcelo. Pintura Ocre and famous sculptures created by Antoni Tapies Rinzen 'can also be admired in the permanent collections.

Exceptional works: The famous work of Miguel Barcelo - Season of Rain no. 2 is exposed to the second floor of the MACBA, among other contemporary creations.
